This is a ten year old Kentucky bourbon from World Whiskey Society, finished in ruby port wine casks. It spends a decade in American oak before the port finish, and it is produced in small batches. The bottle is an ornate vintage-style design with a sculpted topper.
The nose offers dark cherry, vanilla, caramel and seasoned oak, with a touch of red wine sweetness. On the palate are ripe berries, honey, oak spice, toffee and warm baking spice. The finish is long, with lingering fruit, toasted oak and a gentle port sweetness.
