Writers' Tears Copper Pot (70cl, 40%)

Writers' Tears Copper Pot is an Irish blend from Walsh Whiskey, combining single pot still and single malt Irish whiskey, in a 70cl bottle at 40%. Both are triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley. The blend is unpeated and matured in charred American ex-bourbon casks. It has no added colour and is chill-filtered. Apple and a touch of vanilla lead on the nose. On the palate, ginger and orchard fruits bring a gentle spice, and the long finish closes on dark chocolate.
