Writers' Tears Japanese Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey from Walsh Whiskey Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It blends single malt and single pot still whiskeys. The blend was first matured in American oak, then finished in rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks. The Mizunara wood adds richness and complexity, setting exotic oriental notes alongside traditional Irish flavours. The whiskey is described as distinctive and layered.
