Wyoming Whiskey – Double Cask Limited Edition Straight Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Wyoming Whiskey Double Cask is a limited-edition straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, distilled, aged and bottled in Kirby, Wyoming. It is bottled at 100 proof (50% abv). After its main maturation the bourbon is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This adds dried fruit, toffee and spice to the caramel and vanilla of the distillery's usual mash bill. The colour is deep amber with copper highlights. The nose offers dark fruit, caramel, baking spice and toasted oak, while the palate brings fig, honey, cinnamon and sherry-soaked raisins over vanilla and nutmeg. The finish is long and smooth, with sherry sweetness and oak spice.
