Wyoming Whiskey – Single Barrel Straight Bourbon (75cl, 48%)

Wyoming Whiskey Single Barrel is a straight bourbon from a high-elevation distillery in Kirby, Wyoming. It is bottled at 96 proof (48%) in a 750ml bottle, and each bottle is drawn from a single, hand-selected barrel. Because every release comes from one barrel, the character shifts slightly from bottle to bottle. The colour is deep amber with copper highlights. The nose brings caramel, toasted oak, vanilla and dried fruit with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, butterscotch, baking spice and brown sugar are balanced by oak and pepper. The finish is long and warming, with spice, honey and toasted wood.
