A ten year old straight bourbon from Wyoming Whiskey of Kirby, Wyoming, bottled at cask strength of 110 proof. This is the Moran, released for the distillery's 20th anniversary and named after the painter Thomas Moran, whose Yellowstone canvases helped lead to the park's creation in 1872.
Only 400 bottles were produced. The bourbon is made from non-GMO grain grown in the Big Horn Basin and water from a limestone aquifer, and it aged for ten years in seven high-altitude rickhouses.
It is described as showing a mineral note that cuts through a burst of red fruits.
