This is a single barrel straight bourbon from Wyoming Whiskey, bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV). Each release comes from an individual hand-selected barrel, and a barrel yields roughly 220 bottles. It is non-chill filtered and unblended.
The grain is grown locally, and everything from distillation to bottling happens in Kirby, Wyoming. The bourbon is aged for around five years in new charred American oak.
The nose has buttery caramel, brown sugar, cola, dark chocolate and black currant. The palate brings dark toffee, molasses, raisin, fig and citrus peel, and the finish is long and dry, with candied orange, cocoa and toasted oak.
