Yamazaki – 12 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Yamazaki 12 Year Old is a Japanese single malt, bottled at 43% in a 700ml bottle. It comes from Yamazaki Distillery, established in 1923 on the edge of Kyoto, and is Suntory's flagship single malt. The whisky is matured in white oak casks, and malt aged in sherry and mizunara casks adds further layers of flavour. The nose brings peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange and vanilla, with mizunara oak. On the palate there are coconut, cranberry and butter.
