This is a Japanese single malt from Yamazaki, made for the centenary of Suntory Whisky. It is a vatting of selected malt whiskies, all aged for a minimum of 18 years in Mizunara casks alone. It is bottled at 48% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings dark cherries and peaches, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate there are aromatic notes of clove-infused oranges and Japanese incense, leading to a memorable finish.
