Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt from Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Yamazaki was established in 1923 on the edge of Kyoto, and this is the introduction to the brand.
It is made by combining aged malt whiskies from Yamazaki sherry casks with aged malts from mizunara casks. It is described as rich and easy to drink, with a round body and a mature taste.
