Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is a Japanese single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from Yamazaki, which Shinjiro Torii founded in 1923 as Japan's first malt whisky distillery.
The whisky combines aged malt from Yamazaki sherry casks with aged malt from mizunara casks. The house style is built around fruit and Mizunara notes.
It is described as rich yet easy to drink, with a round body and a mature, profound taste.
