Yamazaki – Peated Malt Spanish Oak Kogei Collection (70cl, 43%)

Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak belongs to the Kogei Collection, a series that celebrates creativity in both process and beauty. It is a peated malt matured in Spanish oak casks at Yamazaki, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky draws on the Tsukuriwake blending technique. Its label was designed with Chiso, a Kyoto kimono house, using an ancient dyeing method. The nose is creamy, with dark mocha, raisins and almonds. The palate is velvety with deep smoke and roasted cocoa, and the finish is long, with bittersweet caramelised baking spices.
