Yamazaki – Single Malt Japanese Whisky 18 Year Old (70cl, 43%)

Yamazaki 18 Year Old is a Japanese single malt, deep amber in colour, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits on the edge of Kyoto, in an area once known as Minaseno, where one of Japan's purest waters rises. It is regarded as the birthplace of Japanese whisky. The nose brings raisin, apricot, cafe au lait and Mizunara, Japanese oak. Blackberry, strawberry jam and dark chocolate follow on the palate, leading to a long, smooth, spicy finish.
