This is the 2026 annual edition from the Asaka distillery, run by Sasanokawa Shuzo in the Tohoku region of Japan. The series entered its fifth year in 2022, and this release is a single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is unpeated. It was distilled between 2017 and 2022 and matured exclusively in bourbon barrels.
