Yamazakura Single Malt Asaka 2024 Edition is a Japanese single malt from the Asaka Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of several malts, including peated malt, with 50% Asaka non-peated malt. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered.
Asaka was founded in 2016 to mark the 250th anniversary of the Sasanokawa sake brewery, which received its whisky licence in 1946. This edition follows the previous year's release and is described as showing the distillery's signature sweetness, a lovely scent and a refreshing feel.
