Yamazakura Asaka Distillery & 4 is a world blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 48% ABV. It was created by the Sasanokawa Shuzo Company at the Asaka Distillery in Fukushima, Japan. The blend joins Japanese malt whisky with casks from four other whisky-producing nations. Each component is aged in oak before the whiskies are married in Japan. The nose is of honey, orchard fruit and vanilla, with malt, citrus and oak spice. The palate brings caramel, green apple and toasted grain with soft smoke, and the finish is clean, with oak warmth, fruit and subtle spice.
