A 1970s deluxe blend from Donald Fisher of Edinburgh, sold in an earthenware flagon with a stopper. The whisky is honey to amber in colour, with a faint greenish cast.
Citrus leads the nose, with lime, grapefruit and orange, then dried apricot and date, honey, cocoa, brown sugar and a little pineapple. On the palate it is silky, sweet and slightly sour, with a touch of metal and salt and a gentle smokiness. The finish is long and smoky, with leather and some peat.
