Yellowstone Select Bourbon (70cl, 46.5%)

Yellowstone Select is a straight bourbon from Limestone Branch Distillery in Kentucky, bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of 4 and 7-year-old bourbons, made in small batches from a high-rye mashbill. The Yellowstone name dates back to 1872. Limestone Branch was founded in 2010 by brothers Steve and Paul Beam, who revived the brand. The nose has vanilla, dried herbs, leather and sweet cornbread. The palate is bright and mellow, with caramel, citrus zest, toasted oak and a little rye spice. The finish is crisp and clean, with orange peel, vanilla bean and cinnamon.
