Yellowstone Select is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky, and bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It takes its name from America's first national park.
It is a blend of hand-selected barrels aged between four and seven years, matured in new charred American oak. The mash bill is rich in corn, rye and malted barley, and the blending was done by Stephen Beam, a seventh-generation distiller.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with honey, spice and a little floral citrus. Brown sugar, toffee and rye spice come through on the palate, and the finish is long and slightly dry with caramel, pepper and leather.
