Yoichi 15 Year Old is a Nikka whisky distilled at Yoichi on the Japanese island of Hokkaido and matured for at least fifteen years. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
Nikka withdrew the 15 year old from its range in 2015 because stocks of older whisky had run short.
The nose has flowers, aniseed and spice, with a note of smoke and ripe fruit. The palate is rich, with chocolate, spice, malt and a fine peat. The finish is long, with ripe orchard fruit and wood.
