Yoichi Peaty & Salty Distillery Limited is a Japanese single malt from Nikka's Yoichi Distillery in Hokkaido. This limited-edition expression is bottled at 55% and places peat smoke and a pronounced salty character at the centre of its flavour.
Earthy smoke, iodine and seaweed lead the aroma, balanced by vanilla, mango and guava. The palate has an oily texture, with smoky char and seawater salinity alongside vanilla and caramel sweetness. The detailed tasting description follows these flavours into a long, warming finish of fading peat, brine and seaweed.
