A Kentucky straight bourbon from Jim Beam, bottled in the 1990s at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the White Label expression, matured for a minimum of four years in new American oak.
The nose brings toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and candied apple, with cinnamon, pine and a little citrus peel. On the palate there are honey, black tea, caramel and almond, with light baking spices and a cola-like bite. The finish is medium in length, dry and slightly bitter, with pepper, char and oak.
