This is Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, from the 2010s, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines subtle vanilla, spice and pine with toasted oak and lemon zest, over toffee, sweet sticky pudding and caramelised fruit. On the palate, spice and toasted oak meet a minty freshness, with hints of dry paper and pepper and a faint background of vanilla.
The finish is long and dry, with citrus and pepper lingering.
