23rd Street Australian Whisky (70cl, 40%)

23rd Street Australian Whisky is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of many casks, mostly aged two years or more, with some older stock added. The label names American oak ex-bourbon casks. Part of the distillate came from the Beenleigh distillery in Queensland, made from wash supplied by the Carlton United Breweries Yatala plant, and was blended with spirit from Renmark. The components were left to marry in large oak vats before bottling. It is described as soft, sweet and balanced, with a darker colour and a malt-led rather than oak-driven style.
