This is a single malt from Starward, the Melbourne distillery, made in collaboration with Lagavulin. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky has been finished in Lagavulin barrels, a step that adds an Islay cask to Starward's usual red wine barrel maturation. The distillery works with ingredients from its own region, chiefly barley and red wine barrels from Australian wineries, and its whisky matures in Melbourne's changeable climate.
