23rd Street Hybrid Whisk(e)y is an Australian blend of Scotch whisky and Bourbon, in a 70cl bottle at 42.3% ABV. The Scotch component has matured for an average of five years in barrel and the Bourbon for two. The final blend then went back into Bourbon barrels for finishing. The nose is toasty oak with hints of sweet sherry, lifted by floral and fruity notes. On the palate come rounded malt flavours and rich sherry character with toasty oak, and the finish has an oily nuttiness. It can be taken neat or with a little water or ice.
