78 Degrees – Australian Whiskey (70cl, 44%)

78 Degrees Australian Whiskey is a 44% ABV spirit in a 70cl bottle, created by Sacha La Forgia as an Australian style rather than a copy of Scottish methods. It is made with an unmalted barley base and 11 flavouring malts, fermented and distilled on the grain, and put through a single-shot distillation. The barley is grown as a single paddock crop, fed only by rainwater and free of GM, and the distillery's waste material is used on the field as a natural pesticide. The casks are selected by hand.
