78 Degrees Australian Whiskey (70cl, 44%)

This is an Australian whisky from 78 Degrees, bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from locally sourced, single paddock grain and matured in hand-selected casks, with quality and sustainable practice at the centre of how it is made. The nose recalls a campfire on a damp winter morning, with caramel, vanilla, fig and apricot, a hint of Christmas cake and spice from cinnamon and ginger. On the palate come chocolate crackle cake, toasted muesli, cooked banana and dried apricot, with cinnamon biscuits and wattleseed. The finish is spicy and lingering, with caramel and vanilla at the very end.
