A.D. Laws – Four Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 47.5%)

A.D. Laws Four Grain is a straight bourbon from a grain-to-glass distillery in Denver, Colorado, in a 75cl bottle at 95 proof. The mash bill is 60% corn, 20% Colorado-grown wheat, 10% Colorado-grown rye and 10% Colorado-grown barley. Fermentation is open air, on the grain, with a sour mash, and the whiskey is aged for over three years in new 53 gallon charred oak barrels. Orange blossom, black tea, honey and dusty pepper show on the nose. The palate brings pekoe tea, orange peel, cinnamon and vanilla custard, and the finish is rich and dry with sweet tobacco and spice.
