Aberfeldy – 12 Year Old

Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery built in 1898 by John Dewar and Sons on the banks of the Pitilie Burn. It is the entry point to the distillery's core range. The whisky matured in oak casks combining American oak ex-Bourbon and sherry influences, which give it a honeyed richness and a full-bodied, full-textured mouthfeel. The nose is spiced and honeyed, with plump fruits. The palate is syrupy, with plenty of vanilla and fudge, and a whisper of smoke appears on the finish.
