Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt, released in 2015 as part of The Last Great Malts series. It is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose begins with raisins and cinnamon, moving on to butterscotch, caramel and apple slice, with a hint of floral malt. The palate is well rounded and mellow, with apple first, then clementine segments, honey on toast and a spark of ginger.
