Aberlour 12 Year Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky, double cask matured and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is golden amber with hints of ruby red. Fruit and spice sit in balance, with a sherried character running through it.
The nose offers red apples and fruity aromas. The palate is soft and rounded, with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger. The finish is warming and lingering, with some smoke and a gentle pepperiness.
