Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the Aberlour distillery, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an individual batch release.
The whisky was matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak casks, an approach meant to keep the character of the ingredients intact.
The nose is sharp and fruity with a hum of clove and cardamom. Soft, gentle hints of blackcurrant lead to a rich, creamy finish, rich and spicy yet subtle.
