Aberlour 15 Cuvée Marie d'Ecosse is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The edition pays homage to the historical ties between Scotland and France.
The nose offers ripe cherries, dark chocolate and warm spices with honey and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, with dried fruits, caramel and gentle spice, moving to toasted oak and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long, with lingering dark chocolate sweetness and subtle spice.
