Aberlour 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured in a combination of traditional oak and sherry oak casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
Plum, raisin and floral notes are typical, lifted by a spicy sweetness. On the palate it is smooth and full, with sweet, floral and spicy flavours, plum and gentle oak.
The finish is long and warm, with a spicy fruitiness.
