The nose is fruity and floral, with red apple notes. The palate is spicy, with possible hints of ginger, and has a firm, assertive character before it settles into gentle oak and sweetness.
The finish is long and complex, bringing together smoke, oak, tannins, malty sweetness, peppermint and butterscotch.
