Acquavite d'Orzo - Antica Torre (50cl)

An unaged barley acquavite from Antica Torre, made with barley from local cultivation in the Alta Langa. It is double distilled in a simple discontinuous steam still and cold filtered before bottling. In the glass it is clear, crystalline and bright. The nose brings fresh cereal, bread and honey with a light vegetal note. On the palate it is soft, round and enveloping, with sweet honeyed notes and barley character. It is suited to meditation and to discovering a soft, genuine cereal spirit with personality.
