Antica Torre Grappa di Barolo (50cl)

A grappa from Distilleria Agricola Antica Torre, made from very fresh Nebbiolo pomace from Barolo in the Langhe, selected at Azienda Agricola Conterno Fantino in Monforte d'Alba. Distillation uses a discontinuous steam still with a double pass, intended to preserve aromatic complexity, depth and elegance. In the glass it is clear, crystalline and bright, with faded rose and small red fruits plus light spicy notes. On the palate it is fine, structured and persistent, with an elegant texture. It is suited to meditation or after dinner, with dried fruit, dry pastries, aged cheeses and cured meats, and can be used to correct coffee or accompany ice cream.
