Adelphi Ardnamurchan 5 Year Old Maclean & Bruce 2018/2024 (58%)

A five-year-old single malt from Ardnamurchan, bottled by Adelphi at a cask strength of 58%. The spirit was distilled in 2018 and matured in two first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, one peated and one unpeated. It was released in 2024 in an edition of 1403 bottles, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose brings smoked fish, raclette cheese, salted balsamic vinegar crisps, pipe tobacco and cut wood. On the palate it is powerful and saline, with dark fruits. The long finish carries dark fruit and smoke.
