A 10 year old Islay single malt from the Caol Ila distillery, bottled by Adelphi at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the bottler's regional range, and 1800 bottles were released. The whisky matured in first fill sherry and bourbon casks and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines mineral peat smoke, sea brine, lemon zest and sweet vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied and firm, with ashy peat, salted peanuts, nutmeg and light honey. The finish is long and fresh, with lingering coastal smoke and citrus peel.
