This is a single cask Caol Ila, distilled in 2013 and matured for 8 years before Adelphi bottled it independently in 2021 at cask strength. The outturn was 324 bottles.
The nose shows smoky peanut shells with a thread of maple syrup and freshly chopped parsley. On the palate, dry malt returns with salted nuts, followed by a salty seaweed tang and some sawdust. The finish has a hint of waxy orange and stays pleasantly salty.
