A Japanese single malt in a 50cl bottle, made from 100% Scottish barley and aged for 3 years in bourbon and sherry casks.
It comes from the White Oak distillery, which in 1919 became the first in Japan to receive an official licence to distil whisky. All of its barley is imported from Scotland.
The nose is powerful, with vanilla and smoke. The palate is round and long, with leather and red apples.
