Akashi White Oak Single Malt is a Japanese single malt whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It comes from the White Oak distillery in the town of Akashi, not far from Kobe.
The whisky is matured in two types of cask, bourbon and sherry, and is smooth and silky in style. Honeyed, molasses-like fruit runs through it, with peach and pear, along with a fine spiciness of nutmeg and ginger.
