Akashi Meisei Japanese Blended Whisky (50cl, 40%)

Akashi Meisei is a Japanese blended whisky from the White Oak distillery in the coastal town of Akashi, west of Kobe. The distillery belongs to Eigashima Shuzo, a company that has made sake and shochu since 1888. It is bottled at 40% in a 50cl bottle and presented in a gift box. Meisei combines grain whisky with single malt, 45% of the blend, which was matured in American oak casks. It has oaky, spicy aromas with vanilla.
