Akashi Sherry Cask Finish is a Japanese whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 40% without chill-filtering or added colour. It matures first in traditional casks before a final period in sherry casks.
The nose offers dried berries and sweet sherry, with understated vanilla and wood. The palate is soft and balanced, with dried fruit, almonds and a hint of spice. The finish is medium in length and lightly spicy, with a warm echo of sherry and oak.
