Akashi White Oak Meisei Blended Whisky (50cl)

Akashi White Oak Meisei is a blended Japanese whisky in a 50cl bottle, a limited version of the Akashi blend. It contains 45% single malt matured in American oak. White Oak distillery makes Akashi under a sake master, or toji, and applies sake-making methods to whisky. This is said to mean the malt needs less ageing to turn out smooth and delicate. It is described as light and easy-drinking, with classic American oak notes of vanilla and wood spices.
