Alberta Distiller's Rare Batch No. 2 21 Year Old (75cl)

Rare Batch No. 2 is the second rare Canadian whisky release from Alberta Distillers, aged for 21 years in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Three barrel styles influenced its maturation. The barrels were laid down in racks, which gives more air flow around them at a higher elevation. The dry air and chinook winds of the foothills shaped the flavour profile. The nose is spicy with hints of caramel and oak. The palate brings vanilla, dark molasses and a touch of pepper, and the finish is smooth and sweet.
