Alberta Premium Cask Strength is a Canadian rye whisky from Alberta Distillers, near Calgary. It is made from a mash bill of 100% Canadian prairie rye with Rocky Mountain water, matured in American white oak casks and bottled at cask strength, 66.1% ABV.
The nose is complex, sweet and woody. The palate is full, with smooth caramel and vanilla, balanced by baking spice and black currant.
