Amador 10-Barrel Whiskey is the second release of this blend, crafted by Miles and Marko Karakasevic, the master distillers at Charbay Distillery.
It combines 60% straight malt whiskey with 40% whiskey distilled from a craft IPA beer, so part of the blend is hop-flavoured. The two components were aged separately in French oak wine barrels for over two years. They were then married in Chardonnay barrels for a further two years before bottling.
