Amaethon is a French single cask whisky named after the Celtic god of agriculture. It follows a French tradition of growing and distilling barley that goes back to the Gauls. It is made from French-grown barley of distinctive quality and matured in softwood casks. These give the whisky little tannin and leave the notes of grain and bread in the foreground.
